Cadent was founded in November 2021 by James Gauci because of a conviction that technology could, and should, do more for everyday people.

The inspiration for Cadent wasn't a single moment, but a convergence of ideas: ten years closely witnessing technology's societal impact (highlighted by works like "The Social Dilemma"), the "earning to give" philosophy, and a deep-seated desire to build a business that leads by example to actively contribute to positive change.


After committing to reinvest a significant portion of profits in line with our mission through The Giving What We Can Pledge, Cadent was established with a clear vision: to be a technology business that succeeds commercially so that it can reinvest in aligning technology to human values.
